As with most mechanical parts, air conditioning systems need regular servicing. At least every 2 years or every 30,000 miles is recommended by manufacturers. Air conditioning servicing is not included in the normal service so if yours doesn’t feel as cool as it did or hasn’t been serviced in 2 years, now is the time to book in to New Lane Motors and get it checked. We recommend that you continue to use it in small amounts even through winter to keep the system fully functioning.

Dirty air con system.

The most common cause of a poorly functioning unit is a low level of gas. This could be caused by a leak somewhere in the system.

If you feel the Air Con is just not performing we can check the current levels of gas in the system to see if yours needs a top up. We can also check your system for leaks so you know your gas isn’t just going to evaporate into thin air.
